Start from the last handoff that worked
Cash only becomes spendable when you step on the green money pad inside the restaurant. Fish only becomes sushi after you deposit it at the central cooking counter. A stall is usually a broken handoff, not a hidden tax.
Check in this order:
- Stand on the green money pad. If your balance rises, the restaurant was earning and the cash had not been collected.
- If you are still carrying fish, walk to Deposit Fish by the central cooking counter. Success is a carried-fish count of zero.
- If the Fish counter is not moving, go back to the catch area beside the waterfront fishermen and pick up fish.
- If no fisherman is on the water, return to the Hire 1 pad and read its current price.
- If you just merged, confirm you still have at least one fisherman producing. Three inputs leave one output.
Chef idle or sushi unsold
| What you see | What is waiting | What to do next |
|---|---|---|
| Chef idle, counter empty | No fish deposited | Catch and deposit before buying a chef level |
| Fish in your hands | Deposit pad | Deposit, then wait for customers |
| Customers finished, balance unchanged | Green pad | Collect, then compare the balance with the Hire price |
| No fishermen after a merge | Crew was the merge input | Hire again, then merge only a spare set of the same type |
| Pad price higher than your balance | Price can change | Collect again or wait for another customer cycle |
The chef upgrade next to the chef station is described as more cash per second. It does not create fish. Buy it after the deposit loop is already producing sales.
What not to chase
No working code is confirmed, so a code will not restart a stalled counter. Game-pass perk text was not published with the tracked prices, so a pass is not a documented fix for a missed deposit. Use the pass price table only after the five checks above.
